Determining After-Hour Emergencies

The following are considered maintenance emergencies and should be reported immediately.

  • Fire – call 911, then the management office
  • No heat during the winter months / A/C during the summer months
  • Toilet stopped up (if apartment has only one bathroom)/ Any septic backup
  • Kitchen sink backed up on both sides
  • Any water leak with damage to ceilings and flooring
  • Broken/leaking/frozen pipes
  • Gas leak
  • No electricity in the entire apartment or an electrical short
  • No hot water
  • Refrigerator not working (do not open doors unless it is necessary)
